Intersectionality Training

To be a diverse organisation inclusive of intersectional identities. 

What are the unique experiences of people with multiple marginalised identities?
How can we implement intersectional framework in diversity and inclusion strategies?
How can we implement a systemic organisation change to be a diverse organisation? 

This training will provide participants with the knowledge and skills to work with intersectional identities.
​We specialise on LGBTI and intersectionality, focusing on: 

 

  • Culturally and religiously diverse LGBTI.

  • LGBTI and disability.

  • LGBTI and the aged care.

Training Package: 

3 hours Intersectionality Training: 

  • Understanding diversity framework and intersectionality.

  • Unpacking power and privileges.

  • Understanding cognitive blindspot, biases and stereotypes.

  • Current environment, challenges and improvement. 

  • Goal settings.

5 hours Intersectionality Training:

  • Understanding diversity framework and intersectionality.

  • Unpacking power and privileges.  

  • Understanding cognitive blindspot, biases and stereotypes.

  • Addressing dominant workplace culture and  ideologies in daily practice.

  • Implementing diversity as part of organisation system.  

  • Applying inclusive leadership skills to lead organisational change.

  • Goal settings.
