Ananda Training & Consultancy is committed to work alongside community organisations in the LGBTIQ community and beyond to share its knowledge and expertise to improve the well-being of diverse members of the community.

Current projects are: 

Gay Asian Proud

Convener, 2011 - current

Gay Asian Proud is a program of the Victorian AIDS Council (VAC) providing a support network for gay, bi, and same-sex attracted men of Asian background in Melbourne. The group provides a welcoming and supportive environment for members to socialise and expand their social network. 

Budi is the current convener of Gay Asian Proud, and has been involved with the group since 1998. 

Australian GLBTIQ Multicultural Council (AGMC Inc.)

Vice President, 2016 - current

AGMC Inc. is the peak organisation for LGBTIQ individuals of multicultural and multi-faith background. It advocates for a greater inclusion of sexually and gender diverse individuals in multicultural and multi-faith communities, as well as celebrating diversity within the broader LGBTIQ community across Australia.

Budi is the current Vice President of AGMC Inc. He is working alongside the National Executive Committee to impletent AGMC Strategic Plan 2017 - 2020, with the primary objective of providing on-going support for multicultural and multi-faith LGBTIQ communities through advocacy, social connection, and community participation.

Sexuality, Equality, and Disability (SED) Consortium

Founding committee and trainer, 2016 - current

SED is a consortium consisting of disability support services and professionals advocating for a greater inclusion of LGBTIQ living with disability. The Consortium consists of Pride Vic, Melba Support Services, Encompass Community Services, Victorian AIDS Council, Stabilise, and Ananda Training & Consultancy.

Budi is a founding committee and trainer of the SED Consortium, and has delivered a comprehensive professional development training on sexual and gender diversity to staff and volunteers at Encompass Community Services, Geelong.
